NIGEL FARAGE has claimed the BBC and Northumbria police failed to publicise the case of a group of Syrian men accused of sexually abusing a 14-year-old in a Newcastle park.
One of the men, 18-year-old Omar Badreddin, had been followed as part of a feature on Syrian refugees by BBC current affairs show Newsnight.
However, neither the BBC nor the police force publicised the fact Badreddin, along with Mohammed Alfrouh, 20, Mohammad Allakkoud, 18, and a 17-year-old who cannot be named, were accused of sexually assaulting the teen on May 10.
